David Tannenbaum

Tannenbaum, David Passed away April 17, 2008, at the age of 90 years. Preceded in death by his former wife, Muriel Tannenbaum (nee Temkin) and survived by his former wife, Rachel Foerster with whom he resided. Cherished father of Michael Tannenbaum, Mark (Kathy) Tannenbaum, Marsha (Sam) Denny and Myrna (Bruce) Newman. Loving grandfather of Jessica, Megan, Matthew, and Nick Tannenbaum, Caryn, Alyssa and Lani Denny, Kelly and Dusty Newman. Brother of Marcia (Marshall) Witzel and the late Sam Tannenbaum.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 22 at 10:30 AM, at Second Home Cemetery, 3705 S. 43rd St., Milwaukee.

David worked as a licensed structural engineer and architect. He was a founder and executive director of the Northbrook Symphony Orchestra. David proudly served his country as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign and in the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign on the battleship New York.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Congregation Beth Israel-Sam Cooper Art Fund, 6880 N. Green Bay Ave., Glendale, WI  53209 appreciated.
