Williams, Ethel A. (Nee Arnovitz) of Blacksburg, VA, formerly of Milwaukee, WI. Passed away January 5, 2008, at the age of 90.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, Herman Williams. Cherished and beloved mother of Leon Williams of CA, Nancy Williams (fiancée of Skip Pivar) of Whitefish Bay, WI, James (Sarahn) Williams of Fox Point, WI, and Michael (Vicki Arbuckle) Williams of Virginia. Loving and devoted grandmother of David (Debra) Strauss, Jennifer (Dan) Doerfler, Luke Schmidt, Megan Williams, Emily Williams, Jennifer (Steve) Loeswick, Ben (Erin) Arbuckle, and Amy Williams. Dear sister of Addy Shapiro and Harriet Sussman. Also survived by eight great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and dear friends.

We would also like to thank her devoted caregivers.

Cryptside service and entombment will be held Friday, January 11, at 11:00 AM, at Spring Hill Cemetery, 166 South Hawley Ct., Milwaukee. Friends and family are welcome to attend.

Ethel will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She played an active role in the success of Williams Steel and Supply Company and was a devoted volunteer with her husband, Herman, over the last twenty years of their lives.

Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Congregation Shalom, The Sherman Pastor Library Fund in care of Congregation Shalom or Heritage House of Blacksburg, VA.
