Louise Pinsky

(Nee Faldberg) Passed away November 29, 2011.

She was born on November 24, 1916 in Ottumwa, Iowa. She was the youngest of eight children of Nathan and Bessie Faldberg. At an early age she moved with her family to Chicago where she was raised and educated, and there she met a dental student from Milwaukee, Leo Pinsky. They married in 1939, and she moved to Milwaukee permanently. Louise was a strong, intelligent and loving woman, who was a full partner in marriage with her husband.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Leo and son, Dr. Steven Pinsky. Also, she was preceded by her siblings and their spouses, and her dear sister-in-law and brother-in-law.

She is survived by her sons Ronald (Joan) Pinsky, Neil (Karen) Pinsky, and her daughter-in-law Sue Pinsky Gardner. She is also survived by seven adored grandchildren – Mark (Lisa) Pinsky, Lisa (Jonathan) Ezrol, Laura (fiancée Steven Foertsch) Pinsky, Gail (Colin) Rand, Gregory (Steffanie) Pinsky, Michelle (Dan) Silver, and Lauren (Eric) Althofer.

Louise is further survived by fourteen great-grandchildren – Emma, Rebecca and Jane Pinsky; Aidan, Chloe and Logan Rand; Joshua and Sophie Ezrol; Jordan, Jack and Sammy Pinsky; Bradley and Alexa Silver; and Zachary Althorfer.

She is further survived by nephews, nieces and her friends. Special thanks to loving friends and caregiver Susan Taylor.

Charitable contributions may be made to The Dr. Leo D. Pinsky Scholarship Fund at Marquette Dental School, Congregation Shalom Endowment Fund, or the charity of your choice.

Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, December 2nd, at 1:00 PM, at Greenwood Cemetery, 2615 West Cleveland Avenue, Milwaukee.
